Hey, I’m Nathan
I draw the interesting parts of my imagination. I hope you like it.
I started drawing when I was about 2 years old and loved it. It was all I really did for years. People said I was pretty good and I actually won some awards.
But then life happened and drawing stopped being a priority.
Later in life as I reflected on what really made me happy I stumbled back onto art.
Drawing makes me happy. I hope my drawings can bring you a little happiness too.
The road less traveled has always been one of my favorite poems. I have not always taken that road but when I have it has always had good results.
Complex works of nature and art are made up of nothing more than simple patterns. DNA, the Sydney Opera House, or the most complex of doodles are nothing more than a fascinating tedium of repetition and variation.
Complication infinitivum. This was when I was still doing doodles without much inspiration. It is an experiment of negative space, patterns, repetition, and randomness.
“In every work of genius we recognize our own discarded thoughts.”
Framed – True art like true genius cannot be contained. Let your genius shine.
Rooted, anchored, continuance. Everything is a process of evolution and degradation.
Twins – Cause, Effect – Two sides to every story and infinitely more.
